This is stylish Sancerre with expressive citrus fruit and mineral aromas, and a long steely, mouthwatering finish. 13% ABV.
Philippe Raimbault's vineyards are planted on steep, Jurassic-era soils rich in ancient sea fossils. He cultivates Sauvignon Blanc on Silex clay for his Sancerre wines. His "Apud Sariacum" cuvées exemplify the steely minerality of Sancerre, while the Pouilly-Fumé "Les Lumeaux" highlights its limestone-clay terroir.
