D’Arenberg’s cherry-hued Shiraz is a balanced, medium-bodied weeknight sipper. It’s open and fragranced, like a bowl of freshly picked cherries, raspberries and strawberries. There’s a line of baking spices, dried rose and ground black pepper that make this more than just a fruit bomb, however. Lifted acidity makes the fruit feel fresh, even a touch sour at the finish.
