2021 was a slightly more abundant harvest and with more bunches than usual, but with smaller berries, giving a concentrated juice and intense aromas and flavours. Chenin is grown on decomposed granite soils, which give it freshness and a fruity character, reflecting the character of beautiful quince, bruised apple and pear juice - typical of Swartland Chenin.
