The wine combines charm with subtlety on the one hand and elegance with roundness on the other. The color is dark with purple highlights. We smell the captivating aroma of plums, blackberries, but also deeper iron notes and a hint of roast beef. The taste is dense, slightly sweet and the tannins are velvety. A long spicy finish harmoniously closes the enjoyment with every sip. 13,5% ABV.
Château Peyreau, which borders on Clos de l’Oratoire, is located on the northeast slope of Saint-Emilion. This 2019 vintage offers us a beautiful dark color with purplish reflections. The nose is captivating with aromas of red and black fruits. The palate is dense, very suave, very round, carried by velvety tannins.
