Sutter Home Sweet Red is an approachable, soft-styled wine with delicate peach and floral aromas that reveal abundant fresh cherry, juicy berry and ripe peach flavours on the palate. Its plush mouthfeel, and smooth, sweet flavours are beautifully complemented by refreshing acidity. 12.15% ABV.
To craft this sweet and juicy red wine, winemakers blend Merlot, Zinfandel, and Syrah grapes. It’s a delightful and unexpected blend that highlights the best attributes of each varietal. To preserve its fresh, fruity aromas and flavours, the wine is cold-fermented and aged entirely in stainless steel tanks. The natural residual grape sweetness is complemented by the blend’s soft tannins to provide a luscious mouthfeel.
